The company
Hawk-TEC GmbH develops solutions that clearly connect physical products with reliable digital information. VeriSeal brings together security labels, product authentication, digital nameplate, process evidence and interfaces in a scalable platform.
Our goal is simple: Manufacturers, partners and users should be able to see at any time what product they have in front of them, whether it is authentic and intact and what information or events belong to it.

At VeriSeal, Matthias Rummel focuses on the entrepreneurial orientation, the business model and the coordination of practical use cases. Commercial requirements and technical possibilities are considered together so that the solution fits the actual processes of a company.
After graduating from the European School Karlsruhe in 1993, Matthias Rummel studied medicine for ten semesters at the University of Graz. In addition, he dealt intensively with psychological issues as part of extensive scientific in-depth work.
He then switched to business administration and continued his studies at the Georg Simon Ohm University in Nuremberg. His focus was on financing and international tax law. He completed his studies with very good results.
Practical experience in an internationally active technology group complemented the business training with an insight into industrial processes.
