2. Scope
This declaration applies to the publicly accessible VeriSeal website at veri-seal.de. For product audits, apps, location functions, user accounts, the control center and connected company systems, the Privacy Notice for VeriSeal Services.
3. Hosting, Delivery and Security
The public website is delivered via OpenAI's Sites hosting platform with Cloudflare infrastructure. The technical services at control.hawk-tec.de and our self-hosted website analytics at analytics.hawk-tec.de run separately at IONOS. The processing of the public website is therefore not exclusively limited to IONOS or the European Union.
Technically integrated providers are OpenAI Ireland Ltd. (Ireland), Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. They provide the hosting platform, content delivery and security functions or our backend and analysis servers. When accessed, the IP address, time, requested address, status and transmission data, reference address as well as browser and operating system information are processed. The purposes are secure provision, short loading times, error analysis and the prevention of abusive access. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR; our legitimate interest is safe and reliable operation.
The transmission takes place via HTTPS. Technical logs are deleted or anonymized as soon as they are no longer necessary for operation, error analysis and security defense. In the case of specific incidents or legal obligations, longer storage may be necessary. International processing by the hosting and security providers is explained in Section 6.
4. Range measurement with Umami
We use a self-hosted Umami instance on our server infrastructure for data-minimising website analytics and performance measurement. In the configuration used, no advertising or tracking cookies are set, no information is stored in local storage for analysis purposes and no cross-device user profiles are created. “Do Not Track” is respected; search parameters and URL fragments are not captured.
Page views, referral sources, device type, approximate country mapping, technical browser data and web performance values are processed. The IP address is required for technical transmission, but is not stored as a clear value in the analysis database. The data will not be used for advertising and will not be passed on to advertising networks. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the data-saving improvement of content, usability, stability and security. Analysis data is only retained for as long as it is necessary for time comparisons and the improvement of the offer, and is then deleted or further aggregated.
5. Contact us
If you contact us by e-mail, we will process your contact details, the content of your message and any documents submitted to process the request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual inquiries and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Recipients are only the responsible employees and required IT service providers. Request data will be deleted when the processing has been completed and there are no legal retention or proof obligations.
5a. Beratungs- und Demo-Anfragen
Auf der deutschsprachigen Kontaktseite können Sie lokal im Browser einen E-Mail-Entwurf erstellen. Das Formular verarbeitet dafür Name, Unternehmen, Thema und Anliegen sowie auf Wunsch Telefonnummer und Terminwunsch. Beim Vorbereiten des Entwurfs werden diese Angaben nicht an unsere Formularschnittstelle übertragen oder auf unserem Server gespeichert. Die Schaltfläche zum Öffnen der E-Mail übergibt den vorbereiteten Text an das von Ihnen verwendete E-Mail-Programm; die Kopierfunktion schreibt ihn auf Ihre Anforderung in die Zwischenablage. Erst mit dem von Ihnen ausgelösten E-Mail-Versand erreicht uns Ihre Anfrage. Für die Bearbeitung gilt der vorstehende Abschnitt zur Kontaktaufnahme. Bitte tragen Sie keine Gesundheitsdaten, Zugangsdaten oder vertraulichen Informationen Dritter ein.
Die automatische Kalenderbuchung ist derzeit nicht aktiviert. Terminwünsche werden persönlich abgestimmt und erst ausdrücklich bestätigt. Auf anderssprachigen Kontaktseiten vorhandene ältere Demoformulare können Angaben an die Website-Schnittstelle und den Dienst unter control.hawk-tec.de übertragen; die deaktivierte Buchungsfunktion kann dort eine Fehlermeldung anzeigen. Dadurch wird kein Termin bestätigt. Bitte nutzen Sie stattdessen den angebotenen E-Mail-Kontakt. Eine Weitergabe an Kalender- oder Konferenzdienste findet über diese deaktivierte Buchungsfunktion nicht statt.
Bearbeitete Anfragen sind nur den zuständigen Beschäftigten und erforderlichen Hosting- und Kommunikationsdienstleistern zugänglich. Sie werden gelöscht, wenn die Bearbeitung abgeschlossen ist und keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungs- oder Nachweispflichten entgegenstehen. Bei einem anschließenden Vertragsverhältnis gelten die einschlägigen Aufbewahrungspflichten. Technische Verbindungs- und Fehlerprotokolle beim Besuch der Website können unabhängig davon entstehen.
5b. VeriSeal Assist
When you submit a question or select a suggested question, your browser transmits the question text, language and current page path to our help service at control.hawk-tec.de. In addition, there are technically necessary connection data such as your IP address. Simply opening the help window does not send a question text. Please do not enter any third party personal information, health information, passwords or trade secrets.
VeriSeal Assist currently provides answers by searching stored VeriSeal information. External AI response generation is disabled; The help service will not forward your question to an external AI API. The website hosting platform from Section 3 is to be distinguished from this response function. Before external AI processing is activated, these information and necessary selection or consent options are adjusted.
In its current implementation, the help function does not create a permanent conversation archive in our application database. The question and answer are processed in memory and displayed in the open interface; When reloading, this interface state is lost. Technical connection and error logs remain unaffected. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR; Our legitimate interest lies in providing the product information you have requested. Use is voluntary; Alternatively, personal contact is available.
6. Recipients and International Transfers
Recipients are the platform, hosting and security providers mentioned in Section 3 as well as the necessary communication service providers. Where they process personal data on our behalf, the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR for processing on our behalf must be observed. A European backend address does not mean that all processing of the public website is limited to the EU. As a global provider, Cloudflare also processes data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the USA. International processing is also possible with the hosting platform.
Cloudflare specifically mentions the EU standard contractual clauses for international transfers and its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers to the USA. OpenAI describes adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EEA. The relevant service, recipient and area of application are decisive. 7. Your rights
In accordance with the legal requirements, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, simply send a message to info@hawk-tec.de.

8. Objection to range measurement

9. Obligation to provide and automated decisions
The provision of personal data is not required by law or contract for the mere visit of this website. However, the website cannot be delivered without technically required connection data.
