The Limits of Static Codes
QR and barcodes are very suitable for identification, logistics and universal access. By themselves, however, they do not prove that the code is still affixed to the original product.
Combining multiple security layers
VeriSeal can merge visible features, NTAG 424 DNA, tamper loop, scan history and server-side rules into one decision.
- Dynamic cryptographic tag detection
- Locked and life cycle status
- Recognition of implausible repetitions
- Manipulation-sensitive label design
- Product images and unique product features
Good security must be understandable
The public display clearly separates a real cryptographic check from a mere registration. It is thus avoided that a simply read static NFC link is erroneously displayed as a complete proof of authenticity.
The need for protection determines the label
Not every product needs the same level of security. NTAG 213 may be sufficient for information and simple server allocation. For robust authentication and tamper scenarios, a profile such as NTAG 424 DNA TT is required.
