Industry and spare parts

Each component receives a robust digital identity.

VeriSeal combines original parts testing, digital nameplate, technical documentation and service history across the entire product lifecycle.

Initial position

Wrong parts cause real costs – and often a security risk.

  • 01Fake or incorrectly assigned spare parts are visually difficult to distinguish.
  • 02Paper and nameplate information becomes obsolete, damaged or insufficient.
  • 03Service, warehouse and production often work with separate identifiers and data sets.

VeriSeal for your industry

From risk to Verifiable status.

01

Digital nameplate

Model, serial number, technical data, versions, conformity and documents remain up-to-date.

02

Original part test

NFC authentication and server-side product status create a clear verification message.

03

UHF for processes

Mass reading supports warehouses, incoming goods, production and logistics without a single scan.

04

Service and Life Cycle

Maintenance, exchange, status data and document versions are assigned to the object.

This is how it works

An identity. Continuously linked.

01

Creating an identity

ERP and product data form the digital twin of the specific component.

02

Assigning labels

NFC, UHF and visible marking are clearly merged.

03

Reading in the process

Readers, scanners, web and apps use the same server-side product identity.

04

Maintaining life cycle

Documents, versions, status and service information are updated.

Measurable in the pilot

Success becomes visible – Without marketing figures.

VeriSeal is evaluated on the basis of real process indicators. Target values are derived together from the specific application.

First-pass allocation

Percentage of error-free connected NFC, UHF, QR and serial numbers on the first pass.

Test time on the object

Time until originality, compatibility, documents and service information is available.

Document timeliness

Share of products with released, up-to-date document and software version.

Service integrity

Coverage of relevant maintenance, replacement and lifecycle events per object.

Concrete operational cases

This is how VeriSeal is in usable everyday.

01

Replacement part before installation

Technician checks originality, compatibility, article and serial number directly on the component.

Result: fewer faults and false parts
02

Machine as a Digital Twin

Nameplate, documentation, software status and service contacts remain permanently accessible.

Result: current information at the location of use
03

Maintenance and Retrofit

Service events, exchanged components and shared document versions are assigned.

Result: traceable life cycle

Security architecture

Multilayer instead UID-dependent.

The test statement is derived from chip cryptography, product status, event history and controlled server logic. The UID remains a complementary feature.

01

Digital nameplate

Current technical data, conformity, versions and documents accompany the real object.

02

Safe original parts test

NTAG 424 DNA and server status connect the part with a reliable identity decision.

03

Dual frequency process

UHF takes over mass and movement; NFC provides targeted detail and authenticity checking.

04

Life cycle integration

ERP, PLM, MES, service and document management use the same product identity.

Digital product identity

Typical data

  • Model, article number, GTIN and serial number
  • Year of construction, date of manufacture and production location
  • Technical parameters and permitted operational data
  • Hardware, firmware and software version
  • Conformity, assembly and service documents
  • Maintenance, spare parts cover and lifecycle status

Connection capability

Systems and Interfaces

  • ERP, PLM and product master data
  • MES and production order control
  • Service, field service and ticket systems
  • Document management and customer portal
  • UHF reader, NFC, QR and industrial scanner
  • EPCIS or custom event APIs

Classification

Process environment

  • Receipt of goods and supplier inspection
  • Assembly, end-of-line and commissioning
  • Spare parts logistics and workshop process
  • Maintenance, Retrofit and Obsolescence Management
  • Digital nameplate and product life cycle

VeriSeal technically supports these processes. The specific validation, approval and regulatory evaluation is customer-specific.

A meaningful start

From the sample to the robust pilot.

A delimited test combines real sample labels, real product data, system connection and a traceable testing process.

  1. 01Select a critical component or machine family
  2. 02Adopt product data, documents and identifiers from the ERP
  3. 03Practically test NFC/UHF assignment, nameplate and service view
  4. 04Evaluate target process for production, warehouse and service together

Frequent questions

Clarity before the Pilot launch.

Can an existing nameplate be supplemented?+

Yes. VeriSeal can complement existing visible labels and connect them to the digital dataset via NFC, UHF or QR.

What happens when documents or software statuses change?+

Shared content is updated on the server side. The physical label does not have to be replaced for this.

Are NFC and UHF equivalent?+

Both can identify the same object, but perform different tasks: NFC for proximity and secure individual inspection, UHF for range and mass reading.

Can VeriSeal be connected to existing ERP and PLM systems?+

Yes. REST APIs, webhooks and project-specific adapters combine product master data, orders, documents and events.

Proof rather than assertion

The physical product remains connected to its current knowledge.

Information is centrally updated without having to exchange the label. Changes remain logged and can optionally be anchored blockchain-based.
